[SC] Science 7 Semester B (2 of 2): Extended Campus (SM)

Welcome to Science 7B! This course focuses on science concepts from the fields of ecology and geology. Science 7B begins by exploring the interactions between and among organisms. Next, you’ll discover how much geology rocks when you learn about different types of rocks, the rock cycle, and Earth’s resources. Try not to get blown away when you learn about natural hazards, including severe weather events, earthquakes, and volcanoes! After digging in to the structure of Earth, you will track some of its changes through time. Lastly, you will uncover many benefits of technology.

This course is made up of six units, each with five lessons. Within each lesson, you will learn and practice the information in a variety of ways. Some activities are graded, while others are not. Please make sure to ask your teacher about course guidelines and grading policies.

Note: Some activities in this course recommend that you write your answers in your notes. Your notes can be written in a personal notebook or as a computer document. Taking notes will keep you on track during the course and help you process what you are learning.
