[MA] Mathematics 6 Semester B (2 of 2): Extended Campus (SM)
Welcome to the second half of Sixth Grade Mathematics!
In this course, you’ll build on your knowledge of integers and fractions to learn about rational numbers and how to compare them. You’ll also find the distance between points, both on the number line and in the coordinate plane, and you’ll solve geometry problems involving these concepts. Then, you’ll move on to studying the relationships between variables and how to represent them in different ways. You’ll also learn about ratios and unit rates, and you’ll use them to solve real-world problems. Finally, you’ll work with data. You’ll discover different ways to display data and how to describe the data mathematically.
You might be familiar with some of the concepts in this course. But some of them may be totally new to you. And that’s okay. You’ll get lots of opportunities to practice them. That way you’ll do well in this class, and you’ll be ready for future math classes too!
